Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Says the Santorum Family "live in Virginia"

"A related issue spawned by the Santorum residency is whether he qualifies for Allegheny County's homestead exemption discount of $70.35 a year ($15,000 of property value multiplied by the current 4.69 mills). To be eligible, the law requires a home to be the owner's primary, permanent residence -- a high threshold for the Santorum family to meet since they live in Virginia."

and speaking of the entire Cybergate Scandal the Post-Gazette says -

"Now it's become a festering campaign sore a year before the GOP's third-most-powerful senator seeks re-election."

NO, RICKY DOESN'T LIVE HERE!

Wednesday, April 20, 2005 By Jerome L. Sherman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

"If we do have somebody who, in essence, has been accused of defrauding the county of tax money, shouldn't we use every means to try to recoup that money?" asked [Allegheny County] Council President Rich Fitzgerald, a Democrat. "If they do not live in their home but are taking the homestead exemption, that's fraud."
